My Writing & Mission
Growing up in Uganda, I was surrounded by stories of resilience, faith, and hope. Books became my safe place and my greatest source of learning. Today, I write to inspire, uplift, and bring healing through the power within words — whether it’s helping children discover the magic of books or encouraging adults on their journey of growth and restoration.
As a social worker and author, my mission is simple: to write words that heal, create stories that give strength, and spark movements that remind the world that every life can rise again — one word, one heart, and one step at a time.

Irene Precious
Hi, I’m Irene Precious — an author and social worker deeply committed to healing, restoring, and empowering lives. Born and raised in Uganda, my writing is shaped by real-world experiences working with struggling communities and individuals across different cultures.
Through my books, I aim to inspire lasting change — not just by telling stories, but by awakening hearts and creating tools that help people rise from hardship. My journey as a social worker fuels my mission: to speak life, bring hope, and help rebuild dreams.

This book completely shifted my perspective. Irene has this unique way of turning everyday language into life lessons. It felt like I was being guided by a close friend who truly gets me.

I was stuck for months trying to figure out how to get my visa approved. Irene’s book broke it down so simply—I followed the steps and finally got my student visa! Worth every cent.

Twists, suspense, and real-life fear. I could not put this book down. It had me checking over my shoulder while reading. Irene knows how to keep you hooked!
Michelle T., Manchester
This story felt too real. The way Irene captured the emotional confusion and red flags in relationships was so accurate. Every woman needs to read this.

My daughter laughed so hard she had hiccups! It’s rare to find a kids’ book that’s this silly and heartwarming. We’re obsessed with Lala now!
